We only collect information necessary to provide seamless digital delivery, cryptographic license generation, and technical assistance:

A. Information You Provide Directly:

  • Account Registration: Full name, email address, password (stored strictly as one-way Bcrypt hashes), and optional contact phone number.
  • Checkout & Invoicing: Billing address, state/province, postal code, and optional business details (Company Name & GSTIN) for tax invoices.
  • Support & Communication: Messages, ticket attachments, and inquiries submitted through our Help Desk.

B. Automated Technical & Transaction Data:

  • Payment Telemetry: Transaction identifiers, payment method type (UPI, NetBanking, Card), and payment status received via secure HMAC webhook from Razorpay. We NEVER receive or store raw debit/credit card numbers or UPI PINs.
  • License Activation Logs: IP address, operating system, and hardware machine ID generated during software license activation to verify device limits.
  • Security Logs: Browser user-agent, timestamp, and IP address for fraud detection and rate limiting.

2. How Razorpay Handles Your Financial Information

All financial transactions on Rupam Tech are processed directly through Razorpay Software Private Limited, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

  • Your card details are tokenized and encrypted according to RBI guidelines.
  • Our web servers never touch, record, or transmit sensitive card numbers or bank credentials.
  • Razorpay's independent privacy practices govern their handling of payment information.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is processed strictly for legitimate business purposes:

  • Delivering purchased digital goods and generating authorized license keys.
  • Sending transactional notifications (order confirmations, invoices, and password reset links).
  • Maintaining device licensing limits and providing automated software updates.
  • Detecting and preventing fraudulent transactions, pirated redistributions, or unauthorized downloads.
  • Complying with statutory accounting, tax, and GST reporting requirements.

We NEVER sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal information to third-party advertisers or data brokers.

4. Data Security & Storage Architecture

We employ defense-in-depth security measures to protect your digital assets and account records:

  • TLS 1.3 Encryption: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is secured with 256-bit TLS encryption.
  • Private Cloud Storage: Digital goods are stored on private, encrypted object storage buckets. Public direct URLs are never exposed; downloads use signed, temporary, expiring tokens.
  • Bcrypt Password Security: Passwords are salted and hashed using modern Bcrypt with adaptive cost factors.
  • Access Control: Only authorized staff with role-based permissions can access customer service records.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We utilize strictly necessary first-party cookies and session tokens:

  • Authentication & Security: keycheen-digital-store-session and XSRF-TOKEN to verify valid login sessions and protect against Cross-Site Request Forgery.
  • Cart Persistence: Remembering your cart items and coupon codes across page visits.
  • No Third-Party Tracking Cookies: We do not employ intrusive behavioral tracking or advertising cookies.

6. Your Rights & Data Choices

As a customer of Rupam Tech, you possess the following rights:

  • Access & Correction: You can review and update your name, email, and billing details directly from your Profile Settings.
  • Data Export: You can review and download your complete purchase history and active licenses anytime from your Account Library.
  • Account Deletion: You may request complete deletion of your account and personal records by contacting privacy@rupamdigital.com. (Historical tax invoices must be retained as mandated by Indian GST law).
